Abstract | The second volume of the third annual report of Title I activities in Pittsburgh public schools presents appraisals of eight programs. The evaluations of these particular programs are presented in a separate volume because they do not conform to the previously developed evaluation model. Each program report is introduced by a summary statement and followed by several appendixes with additional information. The component programs are: (1) adapted physical education; (2) educational camping; (3) instructional leadership; (4) instrumental music; (5) nongraded program; (6) Saturday teacher workshops; (7) speech and hearing mobile units; and (8) television news.
