Abstract | This volume is the third annual report of Title I activities in Pittsburgh public schools and follows the format of a previously developed evaluation model. Included are 10 reports, each of which is introduced by a summary statement and followed by several appendixes with additional information. The individual reports evaluated the following component programs: (1) community utilization; (2) developmental reading; (3) elementary school counselors; (4) kindergarten; (5) library aide; (6) preprimary; (7) school social work; (8) secondary counselors; (9) standard speech development; and (10) transition room.
