Abstract | Lectures included in this volume are: Operation SER (Service, Education Rehabilitation); Unions and Farm Labor; California Plan for the Education of Migrant Children; Housing Camps for Migrants; and California Legal Rural Assistance. These lectures have been chosen from those presented as part of the pre-service phase of a 2-year Teacher Corps training program. One of the objectives of the pre-service phase is the development of a better understanding of concepts of community involvement and the kinds of programs already in existence, and the dissemination of information about social conditions, work conditions, and community services. Related documents are RC 003 080 and RC 003 082. (SW) |
