Abstract | IN OCTOBER, 1967, A SPECIAL STUDY INSTITUTE, SPONSORED BY THE ALABAMA STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, CONVENED FOR THE PURPOSES OF (1) DISCUSSING THE MOST EFFICACIOUS MEANS OF SPEECH THERAPY PROGRAM ORGANIZATION, (2) EXPLORING NEW TECHNIQUES OF SPEECH PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION, PROGNOSIS DETERMINATION, AND THERAPEUTIC SEQUENCE DEVELOPMENT, AND (3) STUDYING THE ROLE OF THE SPEECH THERAPIST IN RELATION TO THE TOTAL PUBLIC SCHOOL PROGRAM.
