Abstract	This paper presents an autobiographical study whose objective is to analyze the vital and professional events that the author faces in writing his dissertation. The autobiography begins with the first memories in childhood related to education, the role of the family and the experiences in the school, continues through the main moments the protagonist during the pre-service teacher training and the master's degree and, for finally, the first steps in the dissertation. In this way, the doctoral student tries to show the main elements, relationships and experiences that register his research and his gear during the study. ; En este trabajo se presenta un estudio autobiográfico cuyo objetivo es analizar los acontecimientos vitales y profesionales que llevaron al autor a escribir la investigación de su tesis doctoral. La autobiografía se inicia en los primeros recuerdos de la niñez relacionados con la educación, el papel de la familia y las vivencias en el periodo escolar. Continúa a través de los principales momentos que marcaron al protagonista durante la formación inicial y el máster y, por último, se abordan los primeros pasos en la tesis doctoral. De esta forma, el autor trata de mostrar los principales elementos, relaciones y experiencias que dieron sentido a su investigación y su engranaje durante el estudio.
