| Abstract | The purpose of the present paper was to submit essential statements of the concept of professional physical culture, shown in indication and brief characteristics of the basic conceptual-categorical apparatus; structure of professional physical culture system of basic functions; basic components of the structure and contents of personal professional physical culture, basic methodological approaches to perception and organization of professional physical culture. In the noted context professional physical culture is a type of social and physical culture; creatively transformative and specific activity on satisfaction of social and personal requirements and development of the system of abilities reflecting readiness for consuming, transformation and translation of material, art and spiritual values of physical culture due to practice of vocational training and certain professional activity. Purposeful use of the values of physical culture is one of essential factors of production (formation) of personality, promoting integrated and herewith selective formation and correlation of useful for society and personality motor and personal conditions, qualities and functions. At the same time compensation of social professional potential lays in the field of professional physical culture, promoting formation of expert personality, notable for high readiness for production of social culture, on the stages of formal vocational training and self-education. The noted theoretical-methodological basics of formation of professional physical culture reveal perspectives for work and substantiation of model regimes of profile sports activity in formation and development of personal professional physical culture.
