Abstract | Nowadays university process of students' education is associated with mastering of a large volume of information in short terms, technicalization of educational process and rapid innovations of the teaching process. It effects students' emotional and psychophysiological state. At the same time gradual decrease of their motor activity caused by the increase of time spent for education, requires observation of rules of healthy way of life. Physical culture is one of its key components. The purpose of the present research was to use the data received on special department students' exercise performance to improve technique of their physical education. The studies resulted in a number of conclusions: Decrease of exercise performance combined with decreased aerobic abilities was revealed in most of studied students of special department. Expressed decrease of students' exercise performance is associated with cardiovascular diseases and in persons with musculoskeletal and "other" diseases - with insufficient physical training. Physical load in students of special department is to be differentiated using the nosological principle of its distribution, where the latter will promote opportunities for increasing effectiveness of classes.
