| Abstract | In 1993 a research project was carried out in the Netherlands concerning the organisation of internationalisation of higher education. This phenomenon was described on the basis of the outcomes of a questionnaire. In addition, a model was developed and tested for the analysis of the following questions: -How are internationalisation activities organised (in terms of policy preparation, organisational design, implementation and evaluation) in higher education in the Netherlands? - What are the most important results of the internationalisation activities organised by these institutions? -What relations exist between the organisational designs of these activities and their results?(DIPF/Abstract u.
