Abstract | This article presents some of the results obtained during the research project Big Picture, Small Cards conducted jointly in the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Alberta. One of the goals of the research was to observe if it was possible to influence the quality of the narratives written by students using a set of activities based on Seixas' historical thinking model. To build the activities, the research team used a set of chronological cards developed by the researchers and named "Snapshots of Time/Clichés d'histoire". This text proposes a summary of the results obtained during the first phase of the project. |
