Abstract | Traumatic Stress caused by forced migration and flight coupled with physical cognitive or sensory handicap can lead to substantially affected development paths of children and youth. The school has therefore an important role as it provides a protected space facing and simultaneously participation in education and thereby new future perspectives in the light of the twofold dimension of heterogeneity and risk of flight and disability. Participation in education of children and youth with experiencse of displacements and disability is however still is poorly explored. In a pilot study SchuB-F - Participation in Education in the Context of Flight; Disability and Discrimination the aim therefore is to explore current conditions for pupils with the experience of flight and expected of diagnosed special educational needs from the perspective of special needs teacher in Germany. |
