Abstract	This report presents findings from the TIMSS Advanced 2008 assessments of advanced mathematics and physics at the senior secondary school level in 10 countries, and includes a discussion of changes in students' achievement over time in the 5 countries whose students participated in both cycles of the project in 1995 and 2008. The report contains considerable information about the contexts for teaching and learning advanced material in mathematics and physics in the participating countries. (DIPF/Orig.).
