Abstract	This chapter analyses the impact of COVID-19 on sport education in the United States of America. Whilst concerns had been previously expressed in the United States about declining sport participation rates across the community, the global pandemic provided a further set of challenges for community sport, especially in the context of youth sport. Meanwhile, the authors of the chapter also argue that the pandemic has provided community sport researchers with time to reassess the current state of play and to consider the opportunities for growth and development in the youth sport sector.
