Abstract	This paper argues for the mandatory introduction of global history perspectives into the framework of existing German history curricula, which all follow a Eurocentric master narrative constructed around national history. In the first part, the article outlines the concept of 'global history perspectives' and distinguishes the suggested integrative model from existing international world history curricula. In the second part, the paper outlines curricular guidelines for introducing global history perspectives into current curricula, which are illustrated by concrete examples. Furthermore, we contextualize our approach within the theoretical framework of history didactics. The paper ends with final remarks on implications for teacher training and future research within history didactics.
