Abstract | In this article we present the concept of the new version of the "App in die Geschichte " ("App into history"), an online application for research-based historical learning in corporation with archives and memorial places. Our aim is to put this concept up for discussion in the scientific community of history didactics and explain the theoretical principles and empirical findings which constitute the application. In the first part we discuss several approaches from the broad field of concepts in digital history learning with respect to given empirical data. Building on that, in the second part we show the conceptional basis of the new version of the "App in die Geschichte". The goal of this contribution is to show several potentials and future perspectives of digital historical learning at the concrete example of the proposed application. |
