(DIPF/Orig.). Digitization and economization - so the initial thesis - lead to a new rationalization push in the education system. Here, the education policy and digitization, which are oriented towards competition, excellence and output, are intensifying each other forming two complementary societal 'megatrends'. Economization and digitization also describe an overarching change in society as a whole that reaches deep into society, the world in which we live, communication and social relationships and it touches genuinely upon school and social learning and trans- forms them fundamentally. A pedagogical consequence of this transformation is the segmentation of learning knowledge as well as the event-oriented transformation of learning, as shown by the example of the school cloud.
