Abstract | Israel ist das Land, das neben den USA weltweit die meisten so genannten "demokratischen Schulen" hat. In diesem Beitrag soll die Demokratische Schule Hadera, die die zweitgrößte demokratische Schule der Welt und die größte Israels ist, als ein Beispiel für die tiefgreifende Humanisierung und Demokratisierung von Schule vorgestellt werden. In Hadera sind demokratische Strukturen und die Möglichkeit zur Partizipation Kernelemente des Schulalltags. (DIPF/Orig.). Israel is the country which has the most so called "democratic schools" worldwide besides the USA. In this paper The Democratic School Hadera, which is the second biggest democratic school of the world and the biggest Israeli democratic school, is presented as an example of a profound humanization and democratization of school.
