Abstract	"As Europe embarks on a new strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth (Europe 2020), Cedefop's new policy report, A bridge to the future: European policy for vocational education and training 2002-10 looks at how the Copenhagen process for enhanced cooperation in vocational education and training has affected vocational education and training reform over the past eight years. The report was launched at the ministerial meeting of the Belgian presidency in Bruges on 7 December.; Eight years of voluntary cooperation between countries, social partners and the European Commission have resulted in significant achievements. Common European concepts and tools, such as Europass and the EQF, have helped to improve the transparency of qualifications and citizens' mobility. But their potential has yet to be fully realised. In addition, countries need to make more progress on adult education and guidance if citizens are to see the benefits of European cooperation." Die Untersuchung enthält quantitative Daten.
