| Abstract | The study is related to the manifestation of the health function of physical education and sport in high schools. Students with different specialties are the future human resource primary, crucial for the development of economy and social sphere. The period of their training in universities should provide a set of conditions for obtaining the knowledge, skills and form habits of systematic physical activity through the forms and means of physical education and sport. This means that the major factors that influence the health status of students is appropriate to the subject of theoretical and applied research. Analysis of the results of their implementation is one of lasting importance indicator of the efficiency of the overall process of planning, organization and management of physical education and sport in high schools.
