| Abstract | This study monitors the current state and readiness oft teachers of physical education for the use of health-related physical education in selected primary schools. 92 teachers from the first and the second degree of primary schools from 17 schools in Czech Republic participated in our study. Responds were interviewed through a questionnaire used in national research approved by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Physical Education (LS 0306). Our results, however, clearly point to the fact that physical education teachers do not have sufficient qualifications or fail to identity poor posture in children at primary schools. With regard to the found results, it is necessary to look for ways to solve this problem. We believe that thanks to introduction of health-related physical education qualifications will be physically active pupils who have been excluded from "normal" physical education. (Autor). Predlozená studie podává prehled o aktuálním stavu a pripravenosti ucitelu telesné výchovy k výuce zdravotní telesné výchovy na vybraných základních skolách. Výskumného setrení se zúcastnilo 92 ucitelu 1. a 2. stupne sedmnácti skol v Ccské republice, kterí byli dotazováni prostrednictvím standardizovaného dotazníku Ministerstva skolství, mládeze a telesné výchovy (LS0306). Výsledky studie poukazují na skutecnost, ze ucitelé nemají pro výuku zdravotní telesné výchovy dostatecnou kalifikaci a nedokází optimálne identifikovat vadné drzení tela u detí na základní skole. S ohledem na zjistené výsledky je nezbytné hledat cesty pro resení tohoto problému. Domníváme se, ze díky zavedení hodin zdravotní telesné výchovy do výuky na základních skolách a díky zvýsení poctu ucitelu s kvalifikaci ve zdravotní telesné výchove budou pohybove aktivní i záci, kterí byli puvodne z,, normální" telesné výchovy osvobození.
