| Abstract | The article presents an all-round approach to the design of a pedagogical research on the issues of physical culture and sport. The basic control sections of the plan are given in the paper, along with the essential characteristics of such methodological constructs as problem, topic, purpose, subject, theoretical and methodological research platform and examples of their presentation. It is important for the researcher in line with the all-round approach to provide the expected results of the study and a general plan of reaching the goal, to realize the necessity of mastering the leading research procedures such as forecasting, simulation, design, experimentation, analysis and synthesis of advanced and innovative practices, integration of useful innovations in the existing educational processes, and sports training systems.
