(DIPF/Orig.). Previous attempts to identify a systematic and/or historical aesthetic anthropology have yet to be made fruitful for educational studies. Hence, the contribution examines anthropological and educational implications within the context of European intellectual history on the basis of four aesthetic aspects: the theories of beauty, cosmetics, aestheticism, and utopia. This paper uses a pedagogical approach to examine the respective "ideas of man", including the aesthetic interpretations and educational formations. Anthropology has to clarify the extent to which aesthetic perceptions, experiences and practices differ from technical, strategic and normative perceptions, experiences, and practices. Finally, educational studies should examine the educational processes which have an impact on aesthetic conceptions, differentiations, and models - and how these may be modified. (DIPF/Orig.). |
