(Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku). "Practical applications of the International Classification of Functioning and Disability (ICF) in the field of rehabilitation have long been discussed. Further potential is seen in the field of occupational rehabilitation in particular. This paper presents the findings from a comprehensive survey of German rehabilitation funds and providers of occupational rehabilitation services in Germany. It outlines the current state of ICF utilization for individual rehabilitation needs assessment (awareness of the ICF, degree an context of utilization, related projects), and the potential for enhanced ICF-applications as perceived by these organizations. Possible further developments in individual needs assessment are deliberated within the context of the basic conditions and requirements of occupational rehabilitation" (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku). |
