Abstract | Integrated education is a new education policy that was introduced in the European Union at the beginning of the last century. It provides these children gradual transition from special schools to mainstream. Characteristic of this transition is the development of a system of training for each country according to national specificities (Aksenova, O., 2005, Bogen, M., 2009). In Bulgaria integrated education was adopted officially in 2003. Logical studies show that the physical development of these individuals is crucial to their overall intellectual and mental condition. Therefore, classes in physical education and sport must be one of the leading in the implementation of the integration process. Individual approach to developing correction integration program is an approach for a smooth transition from special to mainstream schools. Incorporating means of basic gymnastics in both programs allow for easier transition. Verf.-Referat. |
