Abstract	In a first step criteria are established to define the target group more closely in order to approach the subject in an analysis of milieu-based conceptions. This is followed by a presentation of education-based effects finding their expression in an improving participation in the social process as well as in a value-based orientation. As most Turkish people are Muslims, the main aspect of the analysis deals with the educational principles in Islamic-orientated families, and in a specific analysis with those in a non-Islamic environment. The final outlook lists parameters of an education striving for a successful life in a plural and liberal society. (DIPF/Orig.).
