Verf.-Referat. Teachers, parents, educators, coaches, instructors, adventure leaders and others involved in the realm of movement and sports are united by the common goal to initiate and facilitate the children's and adolescents' interest and joy in movement activities with a lasting impression. With best intentions and very diverse attempts they produce a variety of offers and concepts with hardly any possible overview. In addition the educational institutions usually act on the basis of different, hardly coordinated plans, which especially complicates the organization of transitions. The goal of the developmental project concerning Saxon's curriculum for movement, play and sports was to create a common systematic structure which offers orientation. The authors see this project as a prerequisite for uniting and systematically coordinating different educational authorities and institutions. The authors finally present the complex topic of movement and sports in a way which provides a structure of the different concepts, contents and offers for children and adolescents from the ages of 0 to 18 on the basis of common educational goals.
