| Abstract | The paper represents the results of the empirical research of the problem of forming and developing physical culture of agrarian university students. The present situation of development of physical culture and sport in the educational environment of agrarian universities is stipulated by a number of essential contradictions, specifically between rising requirements to physical culture as an integral part of the common cultural and vocational training of future experts, increase of students' physical activity and the lack of necessary information on the dynamics of their development in students. The necessity of the conflict resolution provides the need for designing theoretical matters of the system study of the rules of integral functioning of physical culture and sport in the sphere of vocational training and its practical realization in compliance with the demands of the modern education, society and personality. The questionnaire method was applied to study physical culture of students specializing in agriculture, self-estimation of their physical status, their attitude to physical culture and to determine the system of knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of physical culture. In order to improve efficiency of the process of formation of physical culture of students of agrarian universities and increase their physical activity the designed educational technology is to be applied, presupposing the complex use of traditional and interactive forms and methods, activating the educational process.
