| Abstract | The problem of health saving of children and teenagers, living on the North of Russia, is one of priority ones at present. Growing organism is influenced by climato-geographic factors and lifestyle features of polar latitudes. Changes of functional state of different types are accompanied primarily by shifts in cardiovascular and central nervous system activity. Young boys and girls in the age of 15-17 from different educational institutions of Surgut took part in the researches. The state of hemodynamics of young male prospective conscripts was estimated using such methods as determination of heart rate, systolic and diastolic blood pressure; calculation of the mean hemodynamic and pulse pressure, systolic and minute volume. The results of work of the researchers of hemispheric asymmetry testify to the key role of the function of right brain in regulation of adaptive reorganization of human body to changing environmental conditions. While estimating functional status and state of health of prospective conscripts it is necessary to take into account regional features and organize preventive measures in view of specific factors of the North.
