Abstract | The purpose of the present research was to consider the role of teacher's tact in formation of the world view of an athlete-beginner. All the considered constituents of pedagogical tact are assumed acute and significant in teaching practice and cannot be ranged due to lack of inessential things in this matter. If to treat one of the constituents as a trifle, the consequences can be considerable, and still the researchers would like to allocate and consider the following statement: formation of pedagogical tact requires the unity of appeal and contents. The quoted statement is treated in the following way: teacher's words and requirements should be the same as his doings. Frequently we see the contrary in the teaching practice: teacher, asking for discipline from his pupils notably violates it, teaches to obey rules of behaviour and competitions and herewith is not an example for them, tries to form effective interpersonal relationships in a group, facilitates their destruction, tries to develop team spirit, mutual help, partnership, but he himself is mostly far from the ideal. Formation of the world outlook for athlete-beginner is first of all starts from teachers and can occur in the form of copying by athlete-beginner of various details of teacher's behaviour.
