Abstract | The present work is the result of a now three years lasting cooperation between members of Erciyes University, Turkey and Bielefeld University in the area of educational science and teacher training on the basis of an ERASMUS contract between both universities. Back in 2010 an expert meeting, funded by the Robert-Bosch-Stiftung, with members of the faculty for educational science of Bielefeld University and of the Oberstufen-Kolleg Bielefeld took place at Erciyes University. With the objective of stabilization of this cooperation between both sites is associated the expansion to educationalists from both countries that are interested in improvement of quality in teacher training. Central topic for this is the instrument of portfolio. Portfolios have been used not only in school teaching but also in academic contexts of teacher training for ten years now. International studies show that this process takes place at many different countries at the same time. Compared to other countries teacher training in Turkey gained quite a lot experiences, the same is true for some German institutions. This makes the exchange of perspectives interesting for teacher trainers and educationalists. (DIPF/Orig.). |
