Abstract	"The report, carried out on behalf of the German Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, by a consortium of six leading universities and institutes from across Europe, describes how mitigating climate change should not be seen as a trade-off between economic growth and environmental protection.; The report states, that post-crisis Europe can revitalize its economy by tackling the climate challenge. Raising the European climate target from 20% to 30% emissions reductions can open the way towards higher growth and increased employment.; The authors call for 'time for boldness' and point out that clear policies associated with a decisive move to a -30% target, can be doubly beneficial: for the global climate as well as the EU economy."
