(Autorenreferat). "Scientific continuing education is defined as a part of the organization university. From this point of view four dilemmas are developed. The first dilemma bases on the question, how scientific continuing education as part of the organization university is organized. The second dilemma bases on two different governance structures in scientific continuing education and in 'core' university. The third dilemma describes the relationship between organization and employees as a question of motivation. The fourth dilemma illustrates the relationship of practice-oriented and scientific-oriented scientific continuing education. The article discusses theoretical underpinning, a review of empirical literature and addresses some gaps for further research." (author's abstract). |
