Abstract | Sozialarbeit hat im frühen 20. In the early 20th century, the concept of labour, which belongs to the historical category of practical philosophy, was reinterpreted within the framework of Social Work. In this process, plans of action were developed which, following Hannah Arendt's analysis of human activities, can be conceived to be of a communicative nature and furthermore, by increasing women's political agency contributed to a new understanding of family work. As a consequence, the dichotomy between productive and reproductive work, a Marxist paradigm which to this day still has an impact on the evaluation and remuneration of women's work, has been seriously challenged. |
