(DIPF/Autor). Two explorative studies assess the quality of MediaWiki in the context of educational information. The study "Usability-Evaluation BildungsWiki" investigates the Wiki Usability of MediaWiki with a combination of expert- and user-oriented methods and provides a checklist for optimizing the software. In the study "System Development/Extensions MediaWiki" wiki extensions are evaluated - on the basis of a customized process model - and recommendations for their implementation are given. Both studies can be seen as Best Practice for the customization of MediaWiki to the needs of specific target groups. (DIPF/Autor). |
