Abstract | "Der Artikel behandelt die Entwicklung von Mobilität und Kommunikation im Jugendalltag. (Autorenreferat). "This article reflects the development of mobility and communication in everyday life of young people. Increasingly blurred boundaries and dynamics of social patterns are constitutive for reflexive modernity, within which differentiated requirements on mobility and communication come up. For example it is possible to act and communicate via distances. Processes of identity formation in youth life are based on the use of infrastructural offers of society. The mobilisation of communication is implied in modern forms of living, which are based on mobile circumstances of living and the disposal of technologies of communication and mobility. The use of these options leads to a fundamental change of youth life, and requires a consequent revision of youth research." (author's abstract). |
