Abstract | In the field of methodology of sciences, particularly in that of humanities, the comparative analyses or the study of the opposite proves validity. The study of the opposite leads to a clear conclusion: contemporary pedagogy is a pedagogy of competencies. Being either disciplinary or transferable, competencies develop on two complementary dimensions: theoretical as well as operational and creative. This two dimensions are directly related with the good practices identifiable in different professional fields and are similarly considered in all the projects regarding 21st century and the 3rd millennium education. The contemporary pedagogy - a pedagogy of competencies - challenges the educators and the educational community to regard the future as well as sustainable applications. |
