Abstract | Contemporary approaches to teaching languages and other disciplines give learners many opportunities to participate and offer them the possibility to get involved in the learning process and to take part in its construction. Moreover, the acquisition of communicative competences stimulates open classrooms and formal and informal language practice. Thus learners can explore and practice in a meaningful way. They employ language in real exchanges, with real people and for real communicative purposes. This objective gives different social forms of learning a central place in the planning of teaching. In their contribution, the authors present a project aimed at developing plurilingual socialisation. The complex sociolinguistic features of the situation they studied encouraged them to plan complex social forms of learning. (Verlag, adapt.). |
