Abstract | An estimated 80% of all internet request is directed to Google, science as well as educational science not excepted - Google is a global player and a monopolistic global power in the distribution and transfer of knowledge. There have been some attempts of late to look into the build-up and regulation of the machine, with no much success: Google is locked in and guarded like a high security area. None the less it directs social, cultural, and political communication and orientation. That is why [the author inspects] the image of educational science put forward viz. produced by Google. Her article starts to describe the system of the research machine as for as known (1), gives some statistics of its representation of educational science and some reflections on the mental disorder in the conception of educational science, Google might create (2), to finally put forward a short and wishful congratulation towards ERZIEHUNG UND BILDUNG with respect to the critical task of a journal of science (3).
