| Abstract | In this article the pedagogical basics of the Olympic Spirit and the Olympic Ideals are described according to Pierre de Coubertin, literature in German language and also selected "Olympic principles" as formulated in the Olympic Charter of the IOC. The moral aspects of an education through sport are also described. Two points are found to need further critical analysis: the problemoriented reference to the present and a definition of the Olympic educational tasks considering the background of experience and sporting social integration of children and youth. Four didactic models for an Olympic education are described which culminate in a model of integrated Olympic education. Social integration is also understood as a necessary connection for learning between schools and sports clubs. The article closes with an historic analysis of the development of Olympic education as an element of sport activities in youth clubs. Here especially new emphasis for the future must be developed which re-defines the educational task of the sports clubs as part of the Olympic education. Verf. Referat. |
