Abstract | Writing is more and more used as a tool for professionalisation in qualifying training sessions. This writing deals with the practices developed within the frame of theory and practice training sessions. This paper sheds light on the reasons that favour this type of training by referring to some research that focuses on the following issue: to what extent does writing on one's professional practice develop professional skills? The fields of study are numerous, they nonetheless all belong to the teaching, social work and training areas. This research has made it possible for the teams to clarify what writing on one's professional practice e develop professional skills?
