Abstract | This paper reflects on the research tasks and experiences of the collaboration research process to find new strategies for post-16 education to promote parity of esteem between general and vocational learning. The approach of this project is based on the identification and critical evaluation of reforms in upper secondary education systems in different countries and in identifying models of good practice. A central methodological challenge has been the development of a framework to define generative classifications which allow true comparisons and evaluations of respective reform strategies in the participating countries. The author emphasises, in particular, the collaborative writing process as a way of knowing and learning to know. (DIPF/orig.). |
