Abstract | This book is organized into two parts. The first reviews the framework for higher education qualifications, subject benchmark statements, institutional audit and QE. It provides the basis for the second part, which examines through the various relevant sections of the Code of Practice the issues, risks and opportunities for good practice inherent in a comprehensive approach to quality in higher education.
