Abstract | The Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association (IIZ/DVV) and the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) wanted to address the issue of transferability of experience and the dissemination of good practice in a more systematic way. Therefore, they organised a learning fair in which a significant group of international cooperation projects in the field of adult learning, and the organisations involved, were invited to present the findings and results of their work to a broader professional public, and to jointly reflect on their dissemination experience. These inputs were invited from a large number of such transnational cooperation projects that had received funding from the European Commission through its SOCRATES action. Their experience was to feed into a conference with broad participation from practioners and decision makers from all over Europe.... This ... publication gives room to some of the theoretical considerations concerning dissemination needs and limitations. It describes the selected projects of the learning fair and their dissemination experience. It documents the findings of the working groups of the conference on dissemination and transfer, and it evaluates the experience of the learning fair as a dissemination effort. (DIPF/Orig.). |
