Abstract | The central purpose of this study was to investigate the academic and social issues of adjustment to American culture and higher education for undergraduate international students at the University of Tennessee. The authors conducted a survey study in order to determine which demographic, social, and academic factors might impede or facilitate the adjustment to American higher educational life. ...
