Abstract | A number of experts have noted that the academic progress of students with disabilities in higher education is affected by the attitudes and the willingness of faculty members to provide [ instructional and examination] accomodations. ... The purposes of this study were a) to examine faculty-reported attitudes, experiences, and willingness to make accomodations for students with disabilities by faculty in two postsecondary institutions, one in the U.S.A. and the other in Israel, and b) to compare faculty views and practices in these two teacher training colleges, specifically regarding students with learning disabilities in teacher education.
