Abstract | The main purpose of this paper is to explain the processes for the acquisition of reading and writing from three to eighteen years old children/adolescents in order to achieve personal mental capacity at a maximum level. The author from Catalonia (Spain) present different techniques and concepts and describe them in detail. He underlines that the learning process of reading and writing of children must agree with their becoming adults, and that it is a means of communication and written creativity.- This contribution was submitted by the author as a paper for the 25th ATEE Annual Conference in Barcelona 2000.
