Abstract | The book has two parts: In the first one the situation of technology education (TE) as a school subject in various regions of the world is described. The contributions of the second part analyse some current issues, e. g. gender differences in teaching and learning of technology, the relationship between TE and science education, assessment of pupils' attainments, strategies for the implementation of TE, the role of information technologies in TE and research on TE. An appendix sets out some resources of TE (experts, organizations, journals). (DIPF/ Bi.). |
