| Abstract | This article tries to give response to the situation of the education in Brazil from the duality that is observed in the treatment of infancy. The transformation that lives the country from the 80's in legislative and educational matters, contrasts with the gravity of the problem that big sectors of the child and adolescent population are experiencing who are in a worrying marginalization. The experience of work and investigation on this topic is analyzed from a social, eduational, economic and family point of view, trying to give some solutions for the training and orientation of children, girls and young people across programs realized in this country. The author proposes that social participation of children in the life of the cities would be important, rescuing the idea of that is a duty of the family, the society and of the state to assure the child and the teenager the right to life, to culture and freedom.
