| Abstract | Conversation is an interactive and social situation. When measured, the interventions of the conversational partners of frontal and closed head injured patients are judged to facilitate the exchanges - mainly through questions. In studying one partner of a patient with frontal lesions of traumatic origin, it is showed that the adequacy of the adaptions may depend on the measure used. In trying to make a decision with the patient, this partner facilitates the management of topic changes, but she is not efficient in terms of interactions. She uses too many indirect speech acts which are not understood by the patient. In terms of interlocutionary logic (GHIGLIONE & TROGNON, 1993; SEARLE & VANDERVEKEN, 1985), these speech acts are not successful. The drawbacks of the adaptions of this partner is discussed. Given the pathology of the patient, some adjustments may be facilitating, others inhibiting. (Verlag, adapt.). |
