| Abstract | Meeting the needs for staff in education, proper position of teacher's profession, modernization of teachers' training and in-service teachers'training are the subject of paedagogical researches as well as endeavours of authorities, universities, higher schools and other teachers' training institutions. Teachers' education is now in the process of searching the effective concepts and patterns. It is also in the process of serious changes following the transformation of the political system and changes in educational system. The article deals with teaching staff situation in Polish education. On this basis the author presents concepts and orientations of teachers' education functioning in Poland; he looks into ideas of education and into organization of teachers' training system. In the summary the author draws his own conclusions and reflections. (DIPF/Abstract übernommen). |
