Abstract | Low access rate, inappropriate relation with the economical sphere are obvious common weak points of the Central European higher education systems. One possible remedy for these deficiencies can be the introduction of a short cycle higher education sector with non traditional curricula. The paper follows the Hungarian experiences, gathered in the early 90s, as one of the major elements of the post communist education reforms. Starting from the analyses of western models the author derives the particular Hungarian model and shows the way towards appropriate legislation. (DIPF/orig.) |
